We loved that it’s been in business in Reston for many years, it is privately owned, and it was recommended by several friends whose parents had resided there and loved it. Great, clean, excellent assisted living facility! The entire staff is wonderful and very caring and detail-oriented! We looked at a number of places for my uncle, and this was by the far best place AND the best price. We had some constraints, but Allison went out of her way to work with us! I HIGHLY recommend Tall Oaks for your loved one!

My husband has been in Memory Care at Tall Oaks for almost four years. The all-around care and attention to his special needs are outstanding. I could list the names of the entire staff, but two excellent caretakers on his floor, Mel and Silvia, exceed all expectations. Tall Oaks is a true gem. I was so impressed with the facility and staff that after touring I didn’t continue to look anywhere else. The nurses are kind and detail-oriented about each resident. The residents have been so welcoming to my mom. It’s truly been a gift to find this wonderful community. Everything—activities, food, and environment— is 5 stars. We also found it to be significantly less expensive (and more inclusive of care) than the places we visited prior. Absolutely worth a tour!

We have been extremely pleased with every aspect of life at Tall Oaks. Each and every team member is wonderful and works to make your time there very pleasant. The rooms are well-kept and the activities are equally great. One of the activities that we enjoy as a family is eating lunch with Dad and then watching a movie in the Tall Oaks theater. It’s a great place to bring your family members.

I cannot say enough good things about Tall Oaks in Reston. This isn’t just an assisted living facility; it’s truly a community. The building, while older, is well-maintained and full of charm. The staff is truly exceptional. I’ve never encountered such kind, considerate people in any care facility. And unlike other places that charge extra for medication management, Tall Oaks includes it as part of their monthly cost. In addition, residents can see visiting medical providers on-site. This common-sense approach to medical care makes life easier for everyone involved, especially for families who don’t have to constantly micromanage the care process. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything they do.

Before I moved to Tall Oaks in 2014, I looked at three other communities. I immediately loved Tall Oaks when I came to visit. I fell in love with the decorating and knew I could make it my home. I’ve been here almost 11 years and the staff has always been so friendly and helpful. The lifestyle here is just amazing!

My dad has been at Tall Oaks since 2014, with a brief break during COVID. Most of the staff has been there since then, with not a lot of turnover. They love my dad and they take good care of him.
